Replacing one-size illustrations with a
system that scales
The existing illustration library was built for one job: large hero images. It didn't shrink well - detail collapsed at small sizes, forcing landing pages and product UI to either reuse the same oversized handful or fall back on stock.
I built a new library in-house, using a flatter, simpler style deliberately chosen to hold up at any size and to be extendable by any designer on the team, not just an illustrator with a distinct hand. One system now spans character personas and supporting icons, working equally in a campaign hero or shrunk into product UI, keeping Lottie's products visually connected.
